630 Roselawn Avenue features an opportunity to drastically reduce the volume of waste it puts out. Through conversations with tenants and building staff, it became apparent to O’Shanter that illegal dumping was a major concern at 630 Roselawn. Because of the physical layout of the property, the garbage and recycling bins were located within 20 feet of the sidewalk. Therefore, O’Shanter chose to invest in a fenced enclosure to prevent illegal dumpers from having access to this property’s bins.

There are recycling bins in the laundry and mail rooms. We ask that these bins be used only for recycled goods from these rooms, and not as a place to deposit recycled goods from tenants’ suites. These bins will decrease our garbage output by ensuring that all junk mail goes into the recycling stream, as well as any cardboard boxes used for laundry detergent etc….
