6000 Bathurst Street

6000 Bathurst St has well organized and easy to access waste facilities. First and foremost, all garbage will have to go in the garbage chutes.
To further prevent illegal dumping, the fences on the South side of the building have been re-calibrated so that the Recycling and Waste areas are no longer visible from Bathurst St. This decreases the number of people who see the bins from the street and choose to leave their garbage at our property.
Furthermore, in order to increase capacity, O’Shanter has purchased another recycling bin for tenants to use. This clearly-marked bin will be placed alongside the other recycling bins and closely monitored to ensure that tenants do not use it for illegal dumping.
Hopefully, these changes and an enthusiastic response from tenants will see an increase in recycling and a decrease in 6000 Bathurst’s waste output, thereby avoiding any extraordinary charges from the City.
There are recycling bins in the laundry and mail rooms. We ask that these bins be used only for recycled goods from these rooms, and not as a place to deposit recycled goods from tenants’ suites. These bins will decrease our garbage output by ensuring that all junk mail goes into the recycling stream, as well as any cardboard boxes used for laundry detergent etc….
