O'Shanter Tenant Testimonials
- I would like to submit a letter of commendation and many thanks to your staff. I have not lived in an apartment before and moving into your complex on Lascelles was made extremely pleasant by your professional, prompt and above all kind staff. I would like you to know that I first applied to Pam for the apartment and she made the process very easy. I thank her for her patience and time spent to answer all my questions, as she appears to be extremely busy yet did not ever make me feel that I was intruding. THANK YOU!!! I would next like to Thank Dave and Trudy who again answered my move in questions and on that day bent over backwards to see that I got in and received my keys etc. yet they were also leaving to start their vacation. I have since noticed that they keep a very clean building despite the number of people who live in it. I would also like to Thank the superintendent of 17 Lascelles who filled in on my building while Dave was on holidays. Despite the extra burden she promptly answered all my concerns about the stove and the renovating agenda. I was impressed with how nice she was to me and my minor concerns. THANK YOU!! Finally I would like you to know that the workmen/maintenance staff have done an excellent job on renovating my unit. It was a disaster when I moved in and they promptly turned it into a show place. I have further observed your staff working around the complex and they work very hard at fixing up the complex. I will look after my unit and again please thank all the staff involved for their efforts, as I very much appreciate it. Tenant from 21 Lascelles Blvd.
- From April, 1991, until July of 2000, I had the pleasure of living in Suite 904, at 17 Lascelles Blvd. I wanted to write to all the O'Shanter staff to thank you for a good tenancy for all of those years. It was my home, and I had very happy years living in that apartment and working out of my private offices at Yonge & St. Clair. Being able to walk to work each day down tree-lined Lawton Ave. made the city feel more like a welcoming village. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the steadfast contribution that Mrs. Rodica Grutca and her husband made to the upkeep of the building. Rodica was unfailingly pleasan and helpful, and kept the common areas of the building looking clean and well cared for. She did her best to help with guest parking permits when I needed them (if they were available...). She also made extra gestures such as receiving packages for me on the rare occasion when I was stuck at work and thereby saved me the inconvenience of trying to track down and re-route courier services to my office. She did a lovely job of decorating at Christmas, and showed her care for the building and residents in many other ways. Tenant from 17 Lascelles Blvd.
- Dear Mr. Krehm, Just a follow up note to thank you very much for honouring the kitchen renovation and requests I put through a few weeks back. Our countertop looks great (we are just awaiting the plaster repair to be finished), the refrigerator repair, new taps, bathroom tile caulking, and we are very impressed with the replacement of our living room, bedroom, kitchen and hallway lights! Everything is wonderful! It is much appreciated. I wondered if one last request could please be filled-a replacement of the bathroom light fixture to be updated as well, and the black light fixture plate that we had in the kitchen to be replaced again, as a beige one was put on instead. Thank you for your consideration. I once again want to say that I continue to enjoy living here (it's already been almost 9 years! :-) )and Iappreciate you addressing the concerns of valued tenants. I have to also state that our landlady Rodica is fantastic! She and her husband always keep our building immaculate. It is a great place to live! Sincerely, Tenant from 17 Lascelles Blvd.
