Donations and Fundraising

Over the past 8 years alone, approximately $360k has been donated to support different humanitarian causes

Since William Krehm founded the company in 1955, O'Shanter has had a long history of supporting people and institutions in need through various community outreach programs, donations to charitable institutions, supporting refugees, and other fundraising initiatives implemented to help society. It is our way of giving back to the communities that helped strengthen our business: employees, residents, and all stakeholders.

Helping schools/colleges and hospitals, supporting COVID-19, supporting cancer and other disease research, research, and regularly making food bank contributions to aid those in need, especially the children. We support both local and international organizations.

Holiday Donations

O’Shanter takes pride in the generosity of our partners. Instead of sending Christmas presents to our business associates, we've made it an annual year-end practice to make donations on their behalf to the charity of their choice.

Events & Food Drives

Every summer, we hold a BBQ event for our residents at Brentwood Towers -a complex of 5 buildings with over 1,000 units located at Yonge and Davisville. The annual event allows our residents to meet and greet their neighbours and gives our residential community a chance to give and accept donations to charities.

Tribute Donations

In the unfortunate event of the passing of people close to O'Shanter, we recognize and pay tribute to the deceased by making donations in their memory to the charity of their families' choice.

O'Shanter has been accustomed to giving for decades and will continue to make a difference in the lives of our staff and their families, our residents, and the entire community through these practices and initiatives for the noble cause.
