Sorry for bothering not sure if you are the right person for deciding not to increase my rent in which was due in November... well if its you then I just wanted to say a big thanks for freezing my rent increase in November.. and I hope you can freeze it also a while longer.. as you know I am a skating coach and due to Covid had no Job since March.. but also since Thanksgiving with max 10 people on ice restrictions am working per week only around 4 hours per week instead as I usually worked 20 hours.. however.. I am paying since September the full rent... and will continue do so as long as I can afford.. however, I am really grateful that Oshanter did not increase my rent from November.. so, I can pay again the full amount in November.. and hope you won't increase it for December and maybe if possible till Toronto is back to Stage 3 at least where I can work at least 10-15 hours and afford to pay increased rent...
Thanks a lot in any case for rent freeze for November.. please if it was someone else decision, forward my sincere appreciation to those ones in charge for this noble gesture.. !!!

I am contacting to express my gratitude about the decision O'Shanter has taken of temporarily stop the rent increase due to the COVID crisis. The decision shows tremendous empathy with your tenants which I appreciate very much. I have been affected by a 20% salary decrease since March so you can imagine the impact of that in my life. Hopefully we will be out of this nightmare on the near future.
I want to tell you what a fabulous job the gardeners (2 guys) have done to the back garden of 21 Lascelles Blvd (under my balcony). They have both been terrific and have taken the time to clean it, clear it, trim it, prune it and make it look like a well-tended piece of land. In the 36 years I've lived here (all on the 2nd floor) the yard & back garden of 21 Lascelles Blvd have never looked so good.
The brush has been removed. The crab-apple tree has been pruned. The bushes have been trimmed. The garbage has been cleared. The signage is more open - for all to see and the space is more admirable than it's ever been before.
I'll say it again: they have done a fabulous job. Well-done O'Shanter for hiring 2 such diligent gardeners and to allow them to spruce up the space o promote it to its full potential. I can't wait for next spring to see the wonder of how it will develop even further to its full botanical beauty. Much appreciated.
I'd like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for the thoughtful consideration the company expressed to tenants in it's August 31st letter regarding the Annual Lease Renewal/Waiver of Rent Increase due to COVID-19.
With contracts for some of us abruptly ending in March due to COVID, the consequences have unexpectedly altered our lives in ways we never before thought possible. Resulting in the subsequent months being anxious-making while at the same time, hopes that the Fall and the way forward might bring about relief of some kind, remain uncertain.
Recognizing that the company (which has its own obligations and responsibilities) must also be facing challenging times too, heightens the gratitude for the consideration recently extended. Thank you.
I'd also like to add a further thank you for the immediate disinfecting action the company took in quickly responding to the news of two instances in the building, where tenants had confirmed cases of COVID.
I am a new tenant at 23 Lascelles Boulevard. From the the first phone call, throughout my first viewing, to the actual move in date, the Management team has gone above and beyond to make sure that I was happy, well informed, safe and very well taken care of. I want to personally thank Shehan and Allan for taking the time to make sure my move went smoothly, and for taking care of the fine details to efficiently. I want to personally say how wonderfully happy I am to be living at Brentwood Towers. The location is great! Right next to a big park. Very close to all amenities. The building is really well kept and clean and the grounds are well maintained. My favorite spot is the fountain which is beautiful by day and stunningly lit up at night. The tenants I have met in my first week living here are quite friendly. There is a Convenience Store on site that has pretty much everything you may need! During the Covid19 pandemic, the staff keep all tenants safe by ensuring cleanliness and that everyone in common areas wear masks and wash their hands frequently. This is a great place to live and I would wholeheartedly recommend it as a fantastic place to live.

I am writing this letter to advise you, how efficient and helpful how Henrietta is while doing her job.
Yesterday, I went down to the office to ask her advice on how to use the "Sparkle Express" card. She showed me how to load the card (money) and use the washing and drying machine. I also wanted to show her the insurance for my apartment. She helped me with that also. I know Henrietta's job is not easy dealing with so many tenants and their difficulties.
Please pass the accolades to Henrietta.

...I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation of Ray, the Superintendent at 21 Lascelles Blvd. During my time living here, he has been extremely helpful, friendly and professional, and has gone above and beyond in his duties.
We are taking the time to write to you as we wish to praise one of your employees. We have been living at 23 Lascelles for 6 years and have had a few different building managers in that time. For the last few years, Allan has been our superintendent and we are pleased to say he is doing a fantastic job.
Allan is always in a good mood, always smiling, always quick to help and we could not ask for better customer service. We have lived in many buildings in our 30 years in Toronto and this has been the best experience so far.
Recently, we decided to freshen up our apartment with a bit of paint. A few jobs needed to be done beforehand. We had a crack in a wall and a few on the ceilings as well as a cracked tile on the kitchen floor. We put a maintenance request in and within one week, everything was done. When our old fridge broke down, again, the problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Allan has never disappointed us and we are very thankful to have him as superintendent.
Thank you for making our home a great place to live.
With this letter, I am delivering my 60 day notice to vacate Brentwood Towers. I have accepted a job offer in Ottawa, and will be leaving Dec 31st. I want to take this opportunity to personally thank you and your counterpart, Romeo, for providing and extraordinary level of service as the building managers.
Additionally, I want to thank Ernie Pugeon and Kendra Garrick for providing an extremely well-run group of apartment buildings. I have lived at Brentwood Towers since 2011, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking lodging in Toronto. Furthermore if work requires that I return to Toronto, it would be at the top of my list as a residence to live in the city.
Finally, I want to thank Mr. Jonathan Krehm, and Mr. Adam Krehm for being superb landlords. Brentwood Towers is an affordable enclave in city that is increasingly becoming expensive one in which to live. Tenants at Brentwood get good value for their money, and the clean, safe, and comfortable living space something I found satisfying over the years. One cannot understate the importance of a decent place to live. I greatly appreciate it.
It is with a heavy heart that I leave, as I've forged some great relationships in the complex – a real community and friendly place in Midtown.

Just a quick note of thanks for the lovely barbeque last evening. The weather gods gave us the miracle of a warm and sunny evening after the awful deluge of the morning; you and your staff worked a little miracle of you own in making the fountain area so cheerful and welcoming, in spite of some major construction going on. It's coming to be quite the family affair. One of your guests asked me if the company did this every year. When I assured him you did, he said WOW! I guess that's praise in any language.
Please thank the staff for all their hard work and for being so gracious with everyone. It was a long day for them.
Loved the music, loved the party, but I had to get home and put my feet up. It was a very busy day.

This letter is written to commend your staff at O'Shanter at 3000 Yonge St.
Mae, Rafe, Neri, Henrietta, and Mark, work daily to assist us in our requests. When I am in the office, Mae deals with people in person and answers phone calls. It is a difficult position and Mae deals with each situation with politeness and sincerity. Henrietta also does a very good job. Rafe has much responsibility in maintaining this complex at a high standard. Outside the complex the flowers are taken care of so well; also the trees on the street. The rest of the staff are also very helpful.
I have been living here since 2005. It is a great location, I use the subway daily, & shop at Metro often. My sister and her husband live 3 blocks north of here. We are very close and they have helped me during very difficult times.

Thank you very much for your quick, efficient and thoughtful intervention for my bubbling paint on my living room ceiling. I really appreciate your getting a painter there so quickly on Monday morning (from the fridge call).
Because the painters where still there I decided to just get it re-done by them right then and there - as I was unaware of your painters coming just an hour later. (Amor was so kind to come up and inform me).
Now it is all done and you should come & see my apartment - it's really pretty - you'd like it. Do come & visit the next time you are in the building - Mondays & Tues & Fridays too am usually here in the morning. It would be nice to see you again - it's been a while.
I am just sending this email to express how one of your superintendents have gone above and beyond! Jennie Wheeler (460 Eglinton) has been so great and friendly throughout the entire process of applying for the apartment, signing the lease and answering questions through email before we move in.
Last week I emailed her to ask if I would be able to come and measure the windows in our new apartment (that is currently empty). She did not respond until later that night stating she had a very busy day but she had measured the windows for us! She sent us the dimensions and I was able to go buy curtains before we moved in.
She is amazing and we are so excited to move into your building at 460 Eglinton!

Ernie, Jonathan and Adam another successful O'Shanter BBQ last night. The staff did a marvelous job in decorating the grounds and preparing the food.
The local DJ played some great numbers and it was enjoyed by one and all.
Having the Syrian families and their sponsors in attendance added to the gathering and to see the children having fun, and their parents reaching out to us, neighbors and friends made the evening very worthwhile.
